Two Disciplines. One Standard of Execution.

Shinken Innovation was built by practitioners, not presenters.

We came from inside the organizations we now advise, and we kept seeing the same failure: strategy never engineered to survive contact with operations, and compliance arriving after decisions were already made.

So we stopped separating them.

We abide by the Shinken (真剣) Japanese Ideal.

We focus on precision in design, total commitment in delivery, and leaving nothing abstract on the table.

Where we come from

Growth & Operations

Global programs run from the inside

Over a decade leading marketing, content and organic-growth operations inside global research and software-marketplace organisations — across 16+ markets in EMEA, North America, LATAM and APAC. Market entries in seven new territories, growth programmes for nine Tier-1 markets, $1M+ annual budgets and 30+ vendor and partnership contracts under management. Certified in AI project management (CPMAI™), with hands-on delivery of generative-AI and automation systems that cut delivery time rather than decorate a roadmap.

Legal, Data & AI Governance

25 years between law and technology

Thirteen years in private practice at a Milan litigation firm — equity partner from 2005 — handling IP, TMT, corporate and data-protection matters for Italian and multinational clients.

Then a deliberate exit from the profession to build the bridge between legal and IT: seven years leading IP and legal-protection work as a court-recognized technical expert in high-profile copyright, audiovisual-piracy, trade-secret and employee-disloyalty litigation, and today partner and sole director of a Milan legal-tech company.

Alongside the practice: faculty on the Legal Tech postgraduate course at the University of Milan, lecturer on IT Law and intellectual-property master's programmes, guest lectures at Padua and Politecnico di Milano, panelist at international bar and governance conferences and, since 2025, contracted professor at the Politecnico of Turin teaching cybersecurity and compliance. GDPR and DPO-as-a-service frameworks, and EU AI Act readiness assessments, are built on that foundation — with genuine infrastructure literacy (virtualisation, containers, Linux estates, data architecture, AI systems deployment - both locally and in the cloud) behind every assessment.

Why the Combination Matters

Most firms will sell you a strategy or a compliance opinion. Very few can tell you how a market-entry plan survives a data-transfer restriction, how an AI workflow passes an audit, or which part of your growth engine quietly creates regulatory exposure. We work the two sides against each other on purpose — the growth plan is pressure-tested for governance before it ships, and the governance framework is designed around how the business actually operates.

The result is not a deck. It is operating infrastructure: PMO frameworks your teams keep using, positioning and discoverability that holds across search and generative AI engines, and compliance architecture that scales with you instead of blocking you.

How We Engage

Beyond frameworks and deliverables, Shinken brings total accountability embedded in your operations, is candid about what is not working, and is committed to leaving your team more capable than we found it.

We operate as an extension of your leadership team — in your tools, in your stand-ups, accountable to your milestones.

You will hear what is not working, including when the answer is that you do not need us for it.

Every engagement ends with documented systems your team owns, not a dependency on ours.

We work in English, Italian, Spanish and French, across EU, UK and US market realities.

Our governance work is carried into university legal-tech and IP programs — the frameworks we hand you are the ones we are willing to defend in a lecture hall and in court.

Let's Build What's Next

Bring us the problem you have been rewriting in slides for six months. We will tell you, candidly, whether it is a strategy problem, an operations problem, or a governance one, and what it takes to fix it.
